I haven't posted over here in long enough that my account almost got purged! Whoopsie poopsie!!

More soon...

We took down and stored all the Christmas stuff tonight. Ra was mesmerized by the whole process, particularly taking the gold bead garland strands off and the lights off! Jazz skulked in and out of the living room as we worked, a bit spooked by the whole process. Diva, was, well, unimpressed, though she did come out towards the end to see what all the fuss was about.

All and all it was a smooth process. I think there's at least one, if not two boxes of my Christmas stuff floating around somewhere in the garage that are unaccounted for at this point that need to get put by the rest of the Christmas stuff as well as five boxes of assorted Christmas stuff that were Mom's to go through that I'm not going to worry about until the weather gets warmer and I can sit in the garage and take the time without the emotion of the holidays to sort through it and decide what to keep and what to donate eventually.

While we were putting the last of the boxes out my eyes fell upon some boxes that we brought home last weekend of Mom's stuff. With her distinct handwriting on the side. It made my heart ache.

Christmas was her favourite holiday, hands down. Makes the holiday a bit bittersweet for me, really. Going through those boxes is gonna be tough...

How long is it til spring???:(

The papers have been signed.
My parents' house is offically on the market.
Signs and ads will be up and running by Monday.

That's all I've got to say about that...

I haven't abandoned LJ because I have a permanent account. So many of my friends have come over here, so I figured I'd set up an account and cross post.

Does that mean I'm vain?
